I'm the only person who comes through your gate. I started Tails & Trails walking a few dogs in Russell, and the yard work came after because the same people kept asking.

Why it runs this way
Tails & Trails started as walks for a few dogs in Russell and turned into the yard work because the same clients kept asking. It turns out the two jobs go together: the person who walks your dog at noon is already at your house, already knows the gate, and already knows the dog.
Keeping it to one person is a choice. It means the route stays small enough that every visit is the same face, the same car, and the same standard. It also means the business cannot say yes to everyone, which is why the service area is three villages and not all of Ottawa. When enough people on one street outside the route ask, the route grows.
The photo text after every visit started as a habit and became the rule. You should not have to wonder whether someone showed up.
Tails is the dog. Trails is where we take them. The yard is what we leave behind, spotless.

Insured. Liability and key-holder coverage. Ask to see the certificate and it gets sent, not explained.
Local. Based in Russell Township. The route is Russell, Embrun and Morewood, and it grows one street at a time so the days stay reliable.

No contract. Weekly card billing, pause or stop by text. If the service is good you will stay; a contract would only matter if it were not.
